• How do I order a custom set?
  Once you have ordered your sizing kit, determined the sizes you need and the shape you'd like, you're ready to place an order.  Orders are open every Sunday at 12pm EST on a first come, first serve basis.  There are a limited number of design level sets available each week.  You must message me directly on Instagram or send me an email with your order request.  This must include design request, nail shape, nail sizes, and base color preference(please include any and all relevant pictures or drawings for your order).  Solid color sets and sizing kits are always available for purchase on the site in unlimited quantities unless otherwise stated.  Once orders are filled for the week, orders will be closed until the following Sunday.

 

• How do I know what size I need?
  Sizing kits are a requirement for all new customers. (Unless you know your sizes from a previous nail artist that uses the same brand as I do)  Once you purchase your first sizing kit, you will get 10% off your first order!  Your sizing kit will include 1 nail in each size of your desired shape.  All shapes run on different sizing, therefore if you are interested in multiple different shapes that would require you to purchase multiple sizing kits.  Make sure you are sizing on your natural nails and doing each nail individually.  If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me via Instagram @lunapressonsbysami - I am always posting helpful tips and information.

• How do I apply my press on nails?
  When applying press ons there are a couple different options.
  - Liquid glue application: Meant to last 14+ days 
  - Sticky tabs: Mean to last 1-3 days
  

  I recommend cutting down your natural nails, but you don’t have to. You will then use a buffer to remove the shine on your natural nails. Next use your cuticle pusher to push and remove any dead skin, if you don’t do this it’ll cause lifting. Wipe after this step with an alcohol pad. Finally apply your glue at a 45 degree angle to push the glue down and get out any air bubbles. After your nails are on you can finish file and apply cuticle oil and TA-DA! New nails in 10 minutes!

  HELPFUL TIP: Apply before bed and avoid water for at least 1 hr before and after application to let the glue fully dry. 

• What comes with my order?
  

  Every order will include a complimentary prep kit that has everything needed to properly prep your nails to promote the longevity of your set! Each kit includes a buffer, file, cuticle pusher, cuticle oil, alcohol pad, glue and sticky tabs.

• How do I remove my press on nails?
  

  If using liquid glue please remember that with proper application they are meant to last 14+ days. However if they are ready to be removed soak your nails in a bowl of warm water, oil and dish soap for 15-20 min and gently push around the nail to pop off without damage for future wear. • How long does it take for me to get my nails?
  

  Processing time for design/custom sets are 14-21 business days, 7-14 for solid and chrome.  This is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Standard shipping times from Florida are 3-7+ business days on average. All orders will receive a tracking number to track shipment.

• What are the nails made of?
  

  Every set is made from 100% soft gel materials!

  This makes our nails very durable!

• How long do Luna Press ons last and are they reusable?
  

  Luna press Ons last up to 14+ days with the proper prep and application. They are reusable if removed properly up to 5 times.

• What if the nails in my sizing kit don't fit?
  

  Everyone’s nails are different and my main goal is to make your nails custom to you! There’s many ways we can customize your nails to make it work! However if you have clubbed nail beds or  severely arched nails , press on nails might not work for you.  

• What is the difference between store bought press ons and luxury press on nails?
  

  Store bought press on nails are made with plastic. Therefore cannot be reused and are usually not durable. Luxury press on nails are an experience, and delivered right to your door. it’s the luxury of going to a salon to pick out a design but without having to sit for 3 hours. They are custom fitted to your nails using durable tips and hand-painted with care. A lot of time and thought goes behind every set and my main goal is to always make my clients happy. These are luxury nails so also a higher price point then drugstore due to quality, inventory and my time. A lot of the orders I receive are intricate designs and it’s my goal to ensure every person gets the same quality and time they deserve. 

POLICIES

As a small business, I am always here for my clients when needed!  However, I do have to enforce certain policies for the safety of myself and business.

-I must receive payment before starting your set.

-NO refunds/returns for incorrect sizing , you are responsible for sizing your nails.

-No free sizing kits for not having your sizes 

( I do keep everyone’s sizes on file as a courtesy but I highly recommend you also keep track of your sizes as well in case of a system crash etc) 

-I am not responsible for packages after dropping them off.

-You are responsible for providing the correct address.

-I have the right to refuse or turn down a set.

-I will not respond/ sell to spam accounts.

-WILL NOT tolerate hate or harassment you will be issued a refund and blocked.
